Federal Polytechnic Shendam

Federal Polytechnic Shendam (FPS) is a government-owned institution in Plateau State, Nigeria, dedicated to providing high-quality technical, vocational, and entrepreneurial education. Established to bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial needs, FPS focuses on equipping students with practical skills in engineering, business, science, and technology.

School Course O’Level Requirements UTME Subjects
School of Business and Management Studies Business Administration Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two other relevant subjects. Mathematics, Economics, and any other Social Science subject.
School of Engineering Technology Electrical/Electronics Engineering Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and one other relevant subject. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
School of Applied Sciences Statistics Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, or Biology. Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, or Geography.
