Federal Polytechnic Kaltungo, Gombe

The Federal Polytechnic, Kaltungo, is a federal government-owned institution situated in Kaltungo, Gombe State, Nigeria. Established in 2019, it is one of the eight newly established polytechnics aimed at expanding technical and vocational education in the country. The institution is committed to providing high-quality training in various fields, equipping students with practical skills and knowledge to meet industry demands. With a focus on innovation and hands-on learning, Federal Polytechnic Kaltungo plays a vital role in fostering economic development and creating opportunities for young professionals in Nigeria.

School of Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and one other relevant subject. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
Computer Engineering Technology Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and one other relevant subject. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
School of Science and Technology Science Laboratory Technology Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.
Computer Science Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and two other subjects from Chemistry, Economics, Geography, or Biology. Mathematics, Physics, and one of Chemistry, Economics, or Geography.
Statistics Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, or Biology. Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, or Geography.
Leisure and Tourism Management Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Geography, and two other subjects from Economics, Biology, or Government/History. Mathematics, Geography, and one of Economics or Biology.
School of Management Studies Accountancy Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects from Economics, Commerce, Government, or Accounting. Mathematics, Economics, and one other subject.
Business Administration and Management Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects from Economics, Commerce, Government, or Business Methods. Mathematics, Economics, and one other subject.
Public Administration Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Government/History, and two other subjects from Economics, Commerce, or Literature in English. Government, Economics, and one other subject.
School of General Studies Crime Management and Control Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Government/History, and two other subjects from Economics, Literature in English, or a Science subject. Government, Economics, and one other subject.
Library and Information Science Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects from Literature in English, History, Government, or any of the Sciences. Any three subjects from Arts, Social Sciences, or Sciences.
